Govt. May Hike MSP For Kharif Pulses

Pulses demand,specially Chana and Matar,is likely to increase just ahead of Ramadan.Muslim community use these pulses at large scale. Buyers would remain active and buying interest in wholesale market might be seen at improved level. It would support Chana and Matar price in particular and other pulses in general. Besides, govt may consider to allow export of pulses to check price falling and encourage farmers to cover more area under Kharif pulses. MSP might be revised up for pulses.Tur MSP may be hiked from Rs 5050 to Rs 5450 Inc. Rs 200 bonus.Moong MSP may be hiked from Rs 5225 to Rs 5575 inc.Rs 200 bonus.Urad MSP may be hiked From Rs 5000 to Rs 5400 per qtl. with a bonus of Rs 200. It remains to be seen whether govt would able to procure next kharif crop at MSP specially when stock are ample and Tur and Moong are available below MSP.
