Like other North American food and distribution market events, SIAL Montreal will now be presented every year, allowing exhibitors and visitors to stay more in tune with market developments and business opportunities. In all, over 13,000 visits from buyers from the agrifood, distribution, and restaurant industries attended the event during the three days it ran in 2007. SIAL Montréal is the only North American agrifood exhibition with an international range: 13,372 visits from 81 different countries; Visitors from all Canadian provinces, particularly Québec, Ontario, British Columbia and Alberta ; Representatives from key American markets: New York, New England and California.
