Gujarat - pulses sowing update

According to the Agriculture Department of Gujarat release, total pulses coverage in the State has reached at 3,33,125 ha. as of 1^st August, 2022 down by around 24% from 4,35,956 ha. same period last year while the 3 years average is 451,477 ha. Crop loss reports are there but percentage is reportedly lower still. If, situation of excess rains in the State remains same, it may impact the Tur, Moong, Urad sowing.
