Vietnam Pepper price today (August 10) decreased again with an adjustment of 500 - 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Vietnam pepper prices were adjusted to about 70,500 - 73,500 VND/kg in key provinces. In which, the lowest price is 70,500 VND/kg in Gia Lai province after reducing 1,000 VND/kg. Better than Dong Nai at 71,000 VND/kg, down 500 VND/kg. Next are the two provinces of Dak Lak and Dak Nong with the same price of 71,500 VND/kg, Binh Phuoc province with 72,500 VND/kg. These three provinces all have a reduced price of 1,000 VND/kg. Currently, Ba Ria - Vung Tau is the leading locality with the highest price, reaching 73,500 VND/kg. Compared to yesterday, today's pepper price in this province decreased by 500 VND/kg.
According to data from the Ministry of Commerce of India, in the first 5 months of this year, India's pepper imports increased by nearly 50% compared to the same period last year and reached 22,260 tons. In which, Vietnam leads in pepper export to India with 6,964 tons, a sharp increase of 78.1% over the same period and accounting for 31% of the proportion. Sri Lanka ranked second with 5,951 tons, up 6.8% and accounting for 27% of the share.
