USDA report on utilization of maize for ethanol

As per reports, the USDA noted that maize utilisation for the production of gasoline ethanol in July was down 1% from the same month previous year, but up marginally from June. In July, the total amount of corn used to make alcohol and other products was 500 million bushels, up 1% from the month before but down 1% from July 2021. The amount of corn used to make fuel alcohol was 446 million bushels, up a little from the previous month but down 1% from July of last year. The percentages of corn used in July for the manufacturing of dry milling fuel and wet milling fuel were 92.8 percent and 7.2 percent, respectively.
