AgriWatch Conducting Large-scale Syndicated Wheat Crop Survey:

AgriWatch is conducting a large-scale, syndicated wheat crop survey. The survey would be conducted in the major wheat-growing districts of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Haryana, Punjab, Maharashtra, Gujarat, and West Bengal. The survey will be conducted through the use of technology and primary surveys of 5200 farmers in 75 districts and 150 mandi traders.
The detailed scope of the survey is:
· State wise/Division wise acreage estimation and reasons for change over the previous year
· Region wise varieties grown, region-wise crop health
· Weather and climatic conditions during the crop growth phase
· Region wise yield estimates
· State-wise/Division wise yield & production estimates and comparison with the previous year.
