11,158 Tonnes of Green Moong has been Procured by NAFED in Karnataka

NAFED has procured about 11,158 tonnes of Green gram so far in Karnataka in the ongoing Kharif marketing season. As per data from NAFED, 7,034 tonnes has been procured from Gadag, 1,462 tonnes from Dharwad, 813 tonnes from Belgaum and 31 tonnes from Bidar. Currently Moong prices are ruling below MSP of Rs. 7,755 per quintal in major markets of the country.
