Andhra Pradesh red chilli sowing update

As per Andhra Pradesh agricultural department, as on 1st September 2022 red chilli sowing progress is lagging by 19%.
As per AgriWatch estimation, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana red chilli acreage is likely to go down by 12% to 13% this season as per current situation.
Overall, the average rainfall received in Andhra Pradesh from 01.06.2022 to 01.09.2022 is recorded as 429.9 mm as against the Normal as on date of 424.6 mm showing by Normal 1.2%.
