Commercial Ministry of Myanmar Changed the previous Forex Policy Again

Myanmar’s Central bank as on dated 20th April, 2022 has exempted the some foreign entities from its controversial new exchange rules making mandatory the foreign exchange to be converted into local currency namely Kyat. Company approved for foreign investment, firms located in Special Economic Zones, International NGOs, diplomates, UN agencies and airlines have been given exemption from this policy. This rule had triggered a panic among corporate.
