El Nino Impact Could be Assessed by April: IMD

IMD has cleared that El Niño would be at the “neutral level” during next three months and its real impact on the southwest monsoon could only be assessed by April. An alarm regarding ill effect of El Nino was being raised in India which may, if happens, have potential to have bearings on Indian crop production in Kharif season including Urad, Moong & Tur.
