Farmers have covered 15.11 lakh ha under summer Moong so far, up by 37.42% from 10.99 lakh ha last year same time. M.P.is a major growing state, where sowing area was reported at 7.71 lakh ha. Recovery in area may minimized the impact of the rising temperature and the fear of small grain size.
