Government has fixed 21LMT of monthly sugar sales quota for July'2022.

GoI has allotted the monthly sugar sale quota of 21 lakh MT for the month of July'2022 which is 1 lakh MT lower from previous year. Consideration of lower sale quota is mainly due to expectation of lower demand with the coming monsoon season. In the previous month (June) goverment alloted 21 lakh MT of monthly sugar sales quota.
