Guar Seed Arrivals Decline During the Week Amid Bearish Market Sentiments and Unfavorable Weather Conditions

During the reviewed week, Guar seed arrivals decreased by 5.7% to 28,571 qtl. compared to the previous week's 30,293 qtl. In Rajasthan, the arrivals decreased by 4%, and in Haryana, it decreased by 7% compared to the previous week. The bearish sentiments in the market and unfavorable weather conditions in some of the major mandis of Rajasthan caused farmers to hold their stocks, resulting in the decline in arrivals. Approximately 40-45% of the estimated production has arrived in the market, while the rest remains with the farmers.
