Haryana sugarcane farmers are demanding government to hike the SAP for the 2022-23 season

According to the market sources, Sugarcane farmers from Haryana has urged the government to hike the state advisory price (SAP) of sugarcane from Rs 362 per quintal to Rs 450 per quintal. Farmers have given a deadline of 16th January 23 to the state government and stated that if their demands are not met, they will stop cane harvesting from 17th January 23.
