India Imported 17,550 MT Tur During 1-15 January

According to sources, around 17,550 MT imported Tur has arrived at Chennai port during 1-15 January, 2023. Govt. is trying its best to fil gape between supply-demand mismatch through import in the wake of crop loss repots in various areas of Karnataka due to wilt disease. Meanwhile, new Tur crop arrivals are bound to increase in coming days from Karnataka and Maharashtra which are late so far due to continuous and heavy rainfall during August to November last year. So, it becomes important to keep a close eye on arrivals front.
