Jodhpur Guar seed delivery prices traded with steady sentiments and went marginally up by 0.2% to Rs.6,720/qtl, amid firm arrivals as compared to previous day. Futures market traded with weak sentiments. In Rajasthan, arrivals stood at 1,860 Qtl as compared to 1,280 Qtl previous day. In Haryana, arrivals stood at 1,700 qtl as compared to 1,305 Qtl. previous day. WTI Crude oil prices went up by 3.11% to $105.02/ barrels. The guar seed and guar gum prices are expected to trade with firm bias tracking good export demand ,increase in oil rig count, firm crude oil prices and tight stocks. Jodhpur Guar seed delivery prices are expected to trade around Rs. 6600-6800/Qtl in near term.

- Russian Guar gum imports went down in Feb-March amid Russia-Ukraine war, however export demand has rebounded in May.
- Total guar exports in May’22 went rebounded by 6% to 33,095 MT as compared to 31,178 MT previous year same period
- India’s Guar split exports increased in the month of May’2022 by 731% to 5,347 MT as compared to 643 MT previous month.
