Lower production of maize in Tamilnadu results in price hike

As per news reports, in a number of locations in Tamilnadu, farmers are cultivating maize on their land. In recent weeks, maize was sold for Rs. 20 per kilogramme. Due to a shortage, one kilogramme of corn was sold this week for Rs. 22.
