Maize prices reduce upon increase in supply in Kenya

According to news reports, as the season of harvest approaches, prices for maize and other grains have begun to decline in the Busia District in Kenya. A kg of corn cost 2,000 shillings throughout last year, but thanks to the harvest, prices are now between 1,300 and 1,400 kg. The flood of maize supply from central and western Uganda is blamed for the decrease in prices. Despite the fact that the district was severely impacted by the weather changes, the locals benefit from the low prices of maize imported from other regions of the nation.
