New Red Chilli crops have started coming in Madhya Pradesh

Around 150-200 bags (1 bag = 35 kgs) of new red chilli crops are arriving on an average daily basis in Madhya Pradesh Bedia spot market. AgriWatch expects arrivals may likely to increase in the next 15-20 days. 

As of now no report of virus infestation has been recorded in the red chilli standing crop. As per trade sources good quality of red chilli is harvested in key growing regions of Madhya Pradesh.

New crop prices are trading steady today in Bedia, MP. New red chilli (loose) Fatki FC started the day at INR 11,000-12,000 per quintal, steady as compared to previous day. Total arrivals are at 260 bags. 
 
New red chilli (loose) Jhankar (Mahi) DD at Bedia market started the day at INR 15,000-25,000 per quintal.
