Peas traded slightly up by around 1% during the week

Peas traded slightly up by around 1%, due to decreasing arrival pressure of both Green and White amidst reports of lower crop this year. Stockists have reportedly created the required stock while farmers have already sold out their stocks. So, any sudden big fall from current levels unlikely as of now. However, sentiments may turn slightly positive given the background of lower crop and expected good demand in coming days. Peas prices are likely to move up by INR 100-200 per quintal in coming week. Desi Peas and White Peas traded at INR 4350 per quintal, up by 0.58% and at INR 4250 per quintal, up by 0.59% in Kanpur respectively.
