Prices are expected to rise after reopening of the markets post summer vacation

The Khammam spot market for Red Chilli will be closed from May 15th, 2023 until June 5th, 2023 due to summer vacation. Similarly, the Guntur spot market will also be closed from May 15th, 2023 until June 12th, 2023.
Upon reopening, it is anticipated that prices will increase by INR 1,000-1,500 per quintal due to demand from China and other export countries, Oleoresin companies, and Masala companies.
