On the sowing front, as per a recent update by Agriculture and farmers welfare ministry Wheat have planted on 15.3 million hectares till November 25, which is up by almost 11% as compared to the same period in the previous year. High prices have encouraged farmers to increase the area under Wheat and switch from crops like gram and mustard.
