Sowing update of Wheat in ongoing rabi season by Agriculture ministry

On the sowing front, as per the recent update by Agriculture Ministry Wheat, sowing is up by around 0.40% to 343.23 lakh hectares compared to the previous year. The higher area is reported from states like Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir. Higher prices have encouraged farmers to grow more Wheat this year. While on the other hand, less area was reported from Punjab, Haryana, and Madhya Pradesh.
