Summer Pulses Coverage Update as on 31st March

According to the recent release by Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, farmers have covered 5.416 lakh ha area under Summer pulses as on 31st March 2023, up by 19.64% from 4.527 lakh ha. same time last year. Under it, Urad has been sown in 1.95 lakh ha, up by 20.57 from 1.61 lakh ha. and Moong in 3.36 lakh ha., up by 25% from 2.69 lakh ha same time last year.
