Tur Likely to Trade Steady to Weak

Tur weekly average prices traded steady to slightly weak during last week. At Gulbarga, Tur prices traded at Rs. 7,410 per quintal, down by 1.16%. Similarly, In Akola, Tur traded weak at Rs. 7,300 per quintal, down by 2.59%. However, Tur lemon at Mumbai traded flat at Rs. 7,050 per quintal. Continuous arrivals of imported tur and subdued demand in dall keeping prices in check. Tur arrivals are slightly delayed in the wholesale markets of Karnataka, Maharashtra and arrivals this season is also lower however, as per sources direct selling of Tur to millers is reportedly happening outside the markets. But demand is very less resulting into steady to weak movement in prices. Tur prices are likely to trade steady to weak during next week due to low demand.
